Wedding Shoot at Glenshiel – Christine and Dennis
Dennis and Christine were married in a Greek Orthodox Ceremony in Melrose, Johannesburg, and, although it is quite common in some countries for the Bride and Groom to see one another before they meet at the Altar, we seldom find it here. However, two hours before he married his Bride, Dennis was given a preview! The Couple’s first look took place ahead of the Ceremony at the stunning Westcliff monument, where they had a ‘first look’ Wedding Shoot at Glenshiel.
I love first looks. I think they are great for the couples to break the apprehension before the ceremony and are a wonderful way of spending some quiet time together before the rush of the day starts. The photos always turn out amazingly. Every time. It’s because they are just so spontaneous – the bride and groom are totally unaware of photographers standing around (in fact we make sure to lurk in the deep, dark shadows for this part of the day!) and are focusing only on each other.
Here are some pics of Christine’s and Dennis’ Day…
Formal Groom and Groomsman Shot…and…wait for it….
…Oops!….Not so formal Groom and Groomsman Shot!
Dennis’ first glimpse of his gorgeous Bride-to-be
A moment of anticipation as Dennis starts to wonder if his ring is too small!
