Toadbury Hall Wedding – Marsha and Alex

It was a wet Friday when Marsha and Alex tied the knot…but WET! But, as they say, rain is a blessing, and rain, it did!

The Couple travelled to South Africa from The Netherlands and were married at an intimate Ceremony at the beautiful Toadbury Hall in Muldersdrift. It was a wonderful occasion, marked by the joining of two families from distant countries with a common belief – the safe-guarding of human rights. Hans, Alex’s Dad, said some particularly moving words in his speech about Nelson Mandela, bringing home the message of freedom to all present.

Marsha and Alex, your Wedding was stunning! You were surely blessed in the rain, however, you were more blessed amongst your wonderful family and friends; and amidst the love you share for one another.

I leave you all with a quote from Madiba: When you let your own light shine, you unconsciously give others permission to do the same

Here are some pics…

Thanks to Devon Krige for shooting with me on the day…and for being awesome in the rain!
