I am a professional Wedding Photographer based in Johannesburg, Gauteng. My style is best described as photojournalistic/documentary and I believe that some of the most expressive photographs are those that are captured in the moment - natural and unposed.		Weddings are celebrations of life and love. I love to photograph people who are in love; having fun; being themselves. Each special day is unique and I set out to capture those fleeting moments and portray them in a way that sets each wedding apart from all others.




I work with an assistant photographer on your Wedding Day to maximise coverage and all of my packages are inclusive of a high res DVD of your wedding photographs. Lindy Leeming Photography is a Gauteng Wedding Photographer based in Johannesburg, but working throughout South Africa to capture those all-important moments making up one’s Wedding Day. From the bridal preparations to the cutting of the Wedding cake and the tossing of the garter, the day’s proceedings are documented in an essentially photojournalistic style combined with a blend of the artistic and creative.

I have photographed Weddings in and around Johannesburg and Pretoria and have worked at many beautiful venues in Gauteng including (to name a few) Shepstone Gardens, Hazeldean Hall and Foxwood House in Johannesburg; Toadbury Hall, Oakfield Farm, The Moon and Sixpence, Bellgables and Memoire in Muldersdrift; Forum Homini in the Cradle of Humankind; Leopard Lodge and Green Leaves in Hartebeespoort as well as Irene Country Lodge and Zebra Country Lodge in Pretoria.

I believe in natural, documentary-styled Wedding Photography. Subscribing to the principles of Wedding Photojournalism, I am a member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA). There are currently three South African Wedding Photographers of this internationally run organization. To quote from the WPJA’s website:

My style involves very little directing and formal posing. For the most part of the day I like to be a ‘fly on the wall’ and capture moments as they unfold. Your Wedding Photos will reflect you at your most natural and your most relaxed – as your should be on your Wedding Day!

I love Black and White Wedding Photography! There is something about a monochrome image that is so silent; so transfixing. This type of imagery, while always remaining timeless, goes hand in hand with Wedding Photojournalism. Weddings are such colourful affairs and while Wedding Photos in colour definitely have their place in all Wedding Albums, no package is complete without its fair share of documentary and artistic Black and Whites!

Complete your Wedding Photography experience with a Pre-Wedding engagement shoot (or e-session). This informal couple shoot is a great opportunity to become more relaxed in front of the camera before the Big Day as well as to become accustomed to my style of photography. I am also available for a ‘Trash The Dress’ photo shoot after the Wedding Day.

I have a range of Wedding Packages to suit all budgets ranging from photography-only to photography plus an exclusive Storybook Album bound in Genuine Leather and printed on luxurious board-mounted Fine Art paper pages. In addition, all my packages are inclusive of a DVD of high-resolution edited images of your Wedding Day.
